In 1993 I began a journey that lasted 32 years. I worked in the Design and Exhibition Dept. of the National Gallery of Art. Our designers created the atmosphere, our carpenters brought their vision to life and our lighting designers made the room sing. I was responsible for documenting the process and product of their labor, from mock-ups and preparation, to construction, to installation, to the finished exhibit.

My pictures were historic document. The images of the finished exhibit used in promoting the exhibit.

I have photographed over 400 exhibits ranging from one room to 13 rooms.
